Study on Ferrites, Coils and Cores Points To New Market Opportunities

(Morrisville, NC USA) A new study entitled Discrete Inductors: World Markets, Technologies & Opportunities: 2009-2014 is predicting excellent unit growth in the worldwide magnetic component business, especially for ferrite beads, bead arrays and chip coils. According to Dennis M. Zogbi, CEO and founder of Paumanok Publications, Inc., and author of the new 133 page report- "we see a great need over the next five years for EMC suppression and signal decoupling in the consumer electronics sector, especially for new features in wireless handsets, LAN boxes; notebook and netbook computers, and computer printers; HD TV sets ; DVD-R, video game consoles and portable gaming devices, portable audio devices, and especially digital cameras will converge and communicate; we also see great opportunity for inductive components in emerging consumer A/V markets such as in mobile internet devices, touchscreen interfaces, digital photoframes and connected displays." The study was published on September 9, 2009 and is available at the Paumanok Group website.
